Dana Williams

With over 25 years of real estate experience and a New Yorker since 1987, Dana Williams brings deep market expertise, and a highly personalized approach to every client. Recognized by leadership at Sotheby’s International Realty for her performance, she is known for her diligence, resourcefulness, and attentive listening.
Dana joined Sotheby’s International Realty in 2007 after serving eight years as a director at another major Manhattan firm, where she launched and led a department that became a national model, guiding buyers and sellers through renovation, relocation, and staging with seamless support.


Earlier, she founded a successful personal assistance and home management business serving high-profile clients across media, entertainment, fashion, politics, and the arts, and began her career at ABC News, working on a weekly business broadcast.


Dana earned her degree in International Relations from American University, studied in Kenya, and has lived in France, St. Thomas, and California after growing up in Denver and St. Louis—bringing a broad perspective to her work.


A dedicated community leader, she has held numerous leadership roles, serving on the boards of Habitat for Humanity NYC, the Riverdale Main Streets Alliance, her co-op board, and as Co-Chair of Village Preservation’s Broker Partnership. She also organized several live crowdfunding events supporting organizations including Harlem Grown and STEM From Dance. Her properties have been featured in The New York Times, she has interviewed industry experts as the real estate representative for Solvecast, and has appeared as a guest on the Urban Digs podcast.
