The Pen and Brush, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization. Pen and Brush receives a significant portion of its operating income from donations. These contributions are critical, enabling us to present the work of hundreds of women artists from all parts of the world. Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Donor Membership while we welcome your donation in any amount, a donation of $75 is required for Membership. Members receive a discount on event and performance tickets. Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Donor Membership is open to everyone.
Artist Membership is open to all women who are active in the literary, visual, and performing arts. The yearly membership is a $75 donation, which is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. This is a non-juried category of membership. Artist Members are eligible to participate in the exhibitions, readings and performing arts events by submitting examples of their work to a jury of selection.
Mission Statement
Pen and Brush advocates for and promotes the equality of opportunities available to women in the visual, literary, and performing arts. By expanding the influence and significance of the work of women artists, Pen and Brush supports the inherent value of their work. Pen and Brush provides facilities for exhibition of the work of visual artists, publication of writer’s work, performance events for performing artists, readings, mentoring and seminars. We welcome all who support this mission.
